 mero pani tei haal cha..2-3 choti chhodna try gari sake..harek palta 10 din samma matra quit garna sakchu..euta matra bhanera churot khayo tei cycle feri start huncha...yasle present ra future dubai ma naramro asar garcha bhanne pani ramro sanga bujheko chu..tai pani chhodna sakira chaina...2 barsha aghi samma churot nakhane manche aile din ko 6-7 wata ta kei hoina..i hope ek din we can quit

anyways, to answer your question..one of my friend was telliing me about these nicotine patches which you can find in Walgreens...they cost around $20-$40 depending on the count inside the box..it helped her quit..i never tried myself but you can look it up..it might help you..

i smoked for 10 years and now i am clean for 3 months and counting. it just happened. try it guys you can do it

 One of my friends used to write down how much he spent everytime he bought a pack of cigs and add the costs at the end of the month. In a year he realised he was paying way more for cigs than his tuition (He went to a good liberal arts school with decent financial aid), however you will still be surprised how much you spend on cigs if you just start adding costs. He quit a year ago. I don't know if this helps, but it helped him.

 Smoked for 16 years then cold turkey .Haven't smoked since June end 2011.Throw the pac which you have in ur pocket right now and join gym.Think of 6 pac and the work out needed.

Just quit. Dont think whether you can do it or not. I smoked for 12 years and now I havent smoke for past 4 months. I don't even have a feeling of smoke. It doesn't comes to my mind anymore.

I smoked for I dunno how long..felt like forever..    quit once for 7 months due to pressure from gf.. well started back agn the second day I landed in the US.. and kept smoking for like another couple of years.. then one morning i woke up and realized perhaps the millionth of time that I had to quit smoking and start taking care of health..the ride was rough but i made it and have been able to live without cigarettes for 3 yrs now... the only reason i could do it was staying away from the circle of frens who smoke (atleast for the initial couple of weeks..) and then hitting the gym or getting physically active so that you start appreciating ur health..seriously dude once u start enjoying workouts and start seeing results, u won't even touch cigarettes..as above posters said don't worry abt u can quit or not; just take a baby step and trash the pack of smokes u got it with u now...and yes don't put off anything for tomorrow .. don't say this will my last cigarette...it's now or never..best of luck

Avoid triggers at all cost. It could be people who smoke, places where people smoke, movies about smoking etc for a while. It is said that u need to give your body at least 6 weeks to fight the physical addiction. After that, its the psychological addiction which is harder to get rid of. But keep calm and carry on, you will def succeed.

भने पछी अब तपाइँ २ स्टेप मात्रै टाढा हुनु हुन्छ यो चुरोट को नसा त्याग्न | जुन प्रयास गन्रु भयो अब तेस्को २ गुना बढी गर्नु होस्  | हुन त तपाइँ बस्नु बहेको ठाउमा खैनी पाऊदैन् होला , नत्र एउटा छोड्न अर्को नसा समात्ने हरु दुवै नसा बोक्छन  तेसैले अर्को नसा को आदि नहुनु होस् !
त्यो नसा सुरु गर्दा  कसैले भनेन " ए कान्छु तैले ठुटा टिप्ने भईस अब  " मेरो कथा हो यो   ?  COLD TURKEY is the best.

 Actually, my bad. I vaguely remember taking a puff when I was probably 6-7 when my dad asked me to toss the cigarette butt outside the balcony.

Hey guys, here is my story and may be it helps you guys. I smoked some of my teen years and college years so pretty much overall 8 years. And then after graduation i tried to quit it but it was tough. I would quit for a week and then start over all again. It went for sometime and I was dying inside to quit it. One day i decided to do just cold turkey. I was able to break my own record of one week and after that my mantra was one day at a time. I used to be really tempted whenever i would drink beer and see my friends puffing the smoke. I think it is one of those time you really need to tell your mind [Disallowed String for - bad word] off. Its your mind that makes you victim so its your war with your own mind. I did it and i know you can do it too. I have been clean since 2004. Just remember "ONE DAY AT A TIME".
