Hello Sajha User haru,

I am looking for Out of Status possible case information. Hope you guys help me. I graduated from US school A, transferred to H1B and then tranferred my status to F1 again in US school B.  I owe to US school A (student account). I am planning to pay after I am able. Here is the issue.  School A told me that if I don't pay the owe amount they will make me out of status. Is this possible? Currently I am studying in school B. Right now, school B is holding my F1 status. How can they make me out of status?

Thank you for your help in advance.

It all depends on which college is holding your SEVIS. According to my understanding.
If college A has your SEVIS the they can make you out of status as they are saying. If college A already transferred SEVIS to college B, they can't do anything.( might hold you transcript). But I think college A is holding your SEVIS so thats why they are threatening you.

Good Luck
