my lil bro was in probation last semester..and he couldnt come out of it..has been expelled from school now.... and is OUT OF STATUS..was enrolled in a DCCCD college in dallas..and now he needs a college where he can reinstate his status...does anybody know any college around Dallas, tx where they do reinstatement..of lost status..

actually I think ur little brother was suspended he should have filled a suspension appeal in college, then u can study. how do u know he is out of status. if he is suspended on spring still he can go and appeal. if he is already out of status then go n fil up the necesarry forms given by ur international advisor and pay 500, give plausible reasons u might get instate. my roomate was out of status which he knew after one semester and he reinstated, first he was told that they can't then he wrote a very good letter saying its his life and he will die without education this n that n got reinstated. the problem is u need new bank accounts and has to pay 500 for processing.

 

let me know if ur condition is idfferent. to tell u the truth i ve been suspened 2 times and i appealed in college not the Ins. But if u r out of staus then u have to appeal at INS.

damn why they said they can't let his appeal, may be he is doing very poor in college or may be the college knows that he is working illegally, do i thing talk with Houston community college and be clear about ur problem. they might help u. tell them taht u wan be in college then that way u can transfer.

 

but let me tell u something boy, if he is not good in college trust me its better quit college and start naking money rather, dun worry abt status, i was always worried abt status, what i got now nothing no money no degree , just frustrated, i can't go back to Nepal nor I wan work so frustrating, i would have been better off, had I quit college a long time ago.at least i would have been homw ith my people and family. I miss my family so bad haven't bben to Nepal since I came.
