Is there anybody planning to given CFA Level 1 exam in December 2010?

Are you currently working in any investment firm? Did you go through any preparation program like kaplan or anything? Man this is tough. I just finished the couple session for level 1 for december 2010. Please give me some idea how did you prepare? Aleast there is somebody who is planning to take thsi exam.

level one is not that bad. You have plenty of time to be prepared. I don't think you need to take any classes. My suggestion would be...you need to absolutely nail the ethics part.
For Financial statement analysis be sure that you know how ratios are affected given any changes in the IS of BS. Last, Quant must be thoroughly studied.

In November you should be exclusively doing problems. You should get the feel of how they frame questions. You could also try Schweser's Question bank. Hope this helps!
