I have been called for an interview at LA on September. I know most people are not asked for this. Does anyone here in Sajha have attended the interview? Please share your experience. I am thinking of not attending this interview. May this increase the chances of rejection of my application?

   I dont have your answers  but do have some questions regarding the canadian immigrations

Once you applied for the canadian PR ,when did they provide the conformation letter ?

I had applied for the PR 3 months back but i didnt receive anything regarding my application, not even the conformation yet so how long do i need to wait for the letter ani what are the next steps ?

                                One of my friend attend the interview. He was an environmental Science major and the way he said "they just want to see how you can sell your self in your major in canada" . I strongly suggest you to attend it.

if u attend interview, yiu may pass.

if u dont you are rejected, check your interview letter.

you usually get your acknowledgement and file number within 2 months

but as of feb 27 2008 they have changed something that if they dont feel that you are a demanding skilled worker for canada they may hold your application for ages.

better contact them and you may ask for refund, its a lot of money

also heard that it took max  20 weeks to get acknowledgement and file number
