i have been working at a pakistani owned gas station for two years with another pakistani co worker who just started working with me for last 2 months and last week i caught him stealing and i really felt bad because i have been really honest even if i didnt had enough money i was too scared to do anything like to steal but then i really felt bad and thought that i need to start doing the same too but then im helpless because i dont even know how to do that and i know he does but he hasnt taught me how to do so? i think i am going to quit that job but i finally felt that we as a student and working for these indians and pakistanis must steal and takeas much advantage as we can because we are not going to be working for them for ever. guys u dont know how bad i felt when i saw him stealing. i know stealing is bad but man i really wanna steal too i just dont know how to. i know this is stupid for me to post in sajha but i know as new to america as student we all go through this but we really dont know how to handle this kind of situation unless the best thing is to quit the job.

dhat lata, never quit job because of that. if u really don want to steal then complain him to the owner with proof.then your owner can even raise your pay.however they rarely do .But if u want to steal then try it the easiest u can . once u do it it will be easy . trust me. i used to work long time ago and stole some and the amount we steal really don hamper the owner . trust me again cause they make handsome fortune.but save yourself from the cameras.

see the problem is that pakistani has been in america for last 10 years and the other thing is they are both from same religion even if the guy the guy that works with me never goes to musk or he calls jamadkhana and i think my boss wont do anything about it and since my ultimate goal is not to always work in gas station i just dont want to get to involved with this whole mess thats why i am thinking to quit this job rather.

Seriousnepali, a question,

why do want to quit this job again, coz you cannot steal as the pakistani guy or you cannot have that guy fired even if you show the proof of his misdeeds to your boss? If you are making enough money for your survival then just mind your own business, if not find a better job.

not that chornu is good but k garnu dhoti ra paki haru lya badhyeta garuchan ani k garnu. (7 dollars/hr). Baru what is the max can we (chornu) ...... in one day without dhoti being aware of. 

i dont know im just too confused.

 It is understandable to work in gas stations while studying. But stealing in my opinion is strict no no, because
1) Choreko paisa ko mahatwo hudaina , tettikai siddincha.
2) Remember what your goal is. I don't think working in gas station all your life is your goal.
3) You'll start making budget with the money you'll plan to steal. This will eventually lead you to trouble.
4) You will lose your focus in studying and start making lavish plans with "choreko paisa".
