Guys, I am looking around for a MBA school but haven't been able to figure out the best one. I am looking at the California State Universities  especially the one at fullerton, but haven't been able to pin point on one. I am looking  for low cost, decent MBA/MIS schools. Any school that might provide financial assistance or waive GMAT  is a plus.  Let me know what everyone thinks and any suggestions would be really helpful.

good and cheap: OXYMORON.

I think first you need to be clear on what is your criteria of 'Good MBA', and your range for 'Cheap MBA'. Cheap MBA may not be good for you. Just like you would not get close to any girl with a pair of sneakers bought at PayLess Shoes or WalMart (Cheap but NOT good), cheap MBA may not be really useful for the actual universally intended purpose of MBA - which is to show off. Good MBA's don't come cheap. Either they cost a lot of money, or demand hard work, or both. And GMAT is part of 'demanding hard work'.

It might be helpful for us to make recommendations, if first you figured out why you want MBA, and whether it is MBA you want or just a way to hang out at colleges as a grad student. MBA grad students (men) have more sex appeal on college campuses than MIS/ME/MSMA grad students.

Let me know what thinks you.

In fact, it is a very difficult question b'more.

Cheaper fee, waives GMAT, good MBA, provides financial assistance, CSU system.................... impossible!

Dude, you have to compromise somewhere.

Aha! Thanks to both 'axara' and 'simsim.' I guess I was pretty vague with my description. I have to go back to school coz I did not get the H1 B lottery crap. Given that I have a pure business background I figured that may be I should get some IT degree to make myself more marketable and hence the idea of a dual degree, MIS/MBA sprung to my mind. I haven't given GMAT yet and considering my mediocre transcript I do not expect to get in a good program. Under this circumstances, what I am looking  for is a MBA program which is not may be a top tier but decent enough and economical. So I would urge anyone who is studying MBA or MIS or have done so to share their thoughts.

Peace!!
