Baban Singh, an independent candidate from Rautahat-1, who is hiding to escape the police for his alleged involvement in Kathmandu Bomb Blast that killed three civilians couple of months ago, has won the CA election from his constituency. His family campained on his behalf and in his pamphlet adverts, he was using a photo of his in which his face was shown in front of a rope used for giving a "hang till death" penalty, and the slogan was "Please save me, or else I will suicide." I can't understand how such a candidate as such, without any stampede of a popular party can win an election against other giant popular parties.

The win of Babban Singh is the worst result so far. He was the man behind the seperatist movement in Terai. He is being searched by police for bombing in Kathmandu......So surprised and shocked that this guy won.

Many of the other CA winners are probably no less criminals than this babban, but it's surprising that this guy managed to win as an independent candidate, that too while being under arrest warrent...  haha..  we're probably going towards a blend of Bihari and Vietnamese models of democracy...

Funny haha or funny weird?  BTW, why is he funny?Haven't you noticed the pattern of winning candidates yet?Those ppl who climbed the stairs of 13000+ bodies, are winning  so what is so surprising about  Babban 's win?
