ok ...that mac thing .... I went to check out in apple store, did not like much ... the worst thing was ... it did not have "Delete" key .... Can you believe it?
15 inch or wider screen would be good ....

I got ThinkPad R-40 which not due 2 core but M Centrino. I liked it. It is better than Dell or Compaq. I would refer to IBM.

Go for apple otherwise Sony Vaio. Dell has battery problems. Vista is nice and looks cool but it still does not support lots of programs, I had problems on installing different programs in Vista so I removed vista and installed XP.
