By the way, I got an another idea (with your hint, of course)- How about making him frightened with eerie sound or just allowing few strange sounding creatures to enter his room, and wait till his screechy voice calling his MOM in his native tongue.....

So your rascaal and reality your point is we tend to use our mother language when we are angry or frightened.It makes sense to me . I have heard some where native expression is recorded deep inside in us. Therefore when we are angry or fighting or expressing love , we do it best in our natie language.
