I doubt GP Koirala will be holding any CA election in November too. Why will he do it, when he already enjoys, Head of State and Head of Government. If elections are held there is possibilites of losing. Why will anyone gamble of losing when he is already a winner and he knows no one can kick him out until he is alive. Same with Moist and UML. Why will they force for a election untill they are sure of getting more than current 83 seats in the legislature. At a time when they are already enjoying the power of governenment, benifit of opposition without going throught the hassle of election why will anyone take a risk of election.

It is simply power politics my friend, nothing more. Why will you risk your power when you know you are not compelled to??

I was talking on the same topic with my friends over the phone last weekend.

There is less than 4 months of time left to prepare for the CA election. Dashain and Tihar is on the route, that will eat up 1 whole month. Other holidays, minor festivals and weekend sum up to another 20-22 days. Regional strikes, local chakka jam and terai agitation will convert several working days unproductive. Therefore, I don't see any more than2 months of time to prepare for the election after deductive those days of the calendar.

On the other hand, there are tonnes of works left in the course of preparation of the CA. Most of the reasons presented while postponing CA election from Jeshtha to Mansir is still unsolved. For example, the debates on boundaries of costitutional district is not solved yet; the election procedure is not detailed yet; the election committee is still not sure how big work force they require; there is no consensus among political parties on the security issues of security of election and election booth; no public awareness and campaign is begun yet.

Plus, the security is worsening further in the entire nation. Terai and easter hill is burning. Serious crime and abduction in valley is escalating so high that public has stoped reporting them to police or government because they have lost faith.

In such a bad circumstance, how one can convince himself that everything will be right in two months of time? Impossible. I think, even if the government forces to conduct the election anyhow, then, it will turn out to be the 2nd round of KATHA ELECTION ( the failed KAmal THApa ELECTION conducted 2 years ago in local governing bodies, which was not enthusiastcially participated and welcomed by public)

Mr. Chana_Tarkaari, I agree with you and more I question the intention of SPAM governement about holding the election. They simply do not want it because their future is at stake and it is better for their changed lavished lifestyle contributed by 3M (Money, Mobile and Motors) to not have election anytime soon.

Why there will be no election in November ? hmmm.....
Because it will snow in entire nation of Nepal.
