These so called leaders hold major NC post. For some reasons, they do not want to see NC united. What could be their real motive?

Everybody knows that if NC wants to perform well in next election, they need to be united. Then what these leaders want?

Mr.dumer_bhansar and others...it is simple politics of Nepali Congress and GP Koirala who is fooling other 6 parties including Maoist. Currently, there are 2 Nepali congress, as a result they are enjoying 135 members in current nominated legislature in Nepal where as Moist and UML has only 83. In the name of 2 congress they are getting more than 40% of current parliament. Moreover, in name of 2 Nepali congress, they enjoys 9 ministers in current cabinet out of 22, and that is also more than 40% of total cabinet.Do you think, if it was just one congress, other parties would have accepted it. As soon as there is one Congress, other parties will object this fact. So why will anyone give up there power when Sher Bahadur knows he can't be PM as from Nepali congress as long as GP Koirala. He has better chances of being PM if he has a separate congress.

In the same way, I doubt GP Koirala will be holding any CA election in November too. Why will he do it, when he already enjoys, Head of State and Head of Government. If elections are held there is possibilites of losing. Why will anyone gamble of losing when he is already a winner and he knows no one can kick him out until he is alive. Same with Moist and UML. Why will they force for a election untill they are sure of getting more than current 83 seats in the legislature. At a time when they are already enjoying the power of governenment, benifit of opposition without going throught the hassle of election why will anyone take a risk of election.

It is simply power politics my friend, nothing more. You don't have to be anyone puppets when you gain more being two instead of one and you will never risk you power when you are not compelled to.
