sure australia is far better than any other teams in this competition. but looking at the unpredictability that this game offers, i have this premonition that AUS's gonna be eliminated in the knock out and it's gonna be in the semis against SA. no matter how tough a team is, all they need is ONE BAD DAY else india would not have won against WI in 1983 and PAK would not have been the champion in 1992.

to me, the team which strike in form at the right nick (before semis) are invincible and looking at the way SA defeated ENG in the last game and AUS still not having a single bad day in the competition, SA VS AUS will be THE match of this WC and the winner might very well be the winner all the way.

aba PAPER ko kura garne ho bhane ta, Aus are the best without any doubt. they are in super form. they have THE best batting line-up in the competition and a fairly good bowling attack. then comes SL with their fairly good batting and the strongest bowling attack with variations (fast, medium and spin). and then NZ or SA are almost similar-- strength-wise!

so, to be really fair, AUS or SL should be the winner. but from semis on, it's anybody's game. so any team which play better than the other on that day will win. i can't say for sure, who's gonna win the cup (may be after semis i can predict) but all i know, without any malice or offense to the aussies fan, is: AUS is not winning this WC. :P
