I do not think any Indian is involved in these activities. Its our Nepali attitude to complain others and talk about others. If Maoist and previous government who hunted several people can have justice! How do Madhesi can not have justice? CLOSE THE BOARDER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE - THE PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED IN LESS THAN A WEEK

THAT IS THE EASIEST WAY AND LESS HARMFULL TO ALL.

Ohh, yeah, there are a lot of people who don't think that is easy. But I don't think it is impossible. Here goes the simple math.

How long is our open boarder with india? Approx. 1400 km

How long open boarder needs to be controlled? Less than 800 km

Why? because, we need control mostly on vulnerable southern boarder rather than in Mechi, Mahakali river and in other natural boarders.

How big is our security force? approx. 250,000 (may exceed this number if we count maoist milisia who are regularly fed by government and public resources)

What is the percentage of armed force we can operate at once in critical stage? Approx. 60 to 70% of total capacity.

Is terai problem a critical one? yes.

So, that means we we do have approx 150,000 force to deploy on field in crtical time. Why don't we use that capacity to control boarder?

If we deploy our armed force in boarders rather than letting them to eat, dance and play baghchal in their barracks, then what would be the case? Each security person can check approx 5 to 8 meters of boarder. ( 800,000/150,000 = 5.33 meter of length per head)

SEE, WE CAN EVEN FORM A HUMAN-CHAIN OF OUR SECURITY FORCE ALONG THE ENTIRE BOARDER. JUST GUARDING 5.33 METERS PER PERSON IS NOT BIG DEAL, BECAUSE THIS IS NOT WAR TIME. THIS IS JUST TO CONTROL UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES GOING ON ACROSS THE BOARDER.

Doesn"t this will control all kind of smuggling (weapon, drug, human trafficing, untaxed trade etc.), foreign infiltration and so on? Doesn't this discourage politicians enjoying support from foreign land?

The borders were closed and controlled in almost all election days (both in Nepal and India) in the past, which was possible then, then why not now?

See the example of HONGKONG - being itself a chinese state, it does not allow free entrance of mainland chinese people in its territory, there is law, there is quota and a kind of controling mechanism to prevent the possible wreck from the infiltrated mass. how can we leave our boarder open always?

implement the passport system. implement the H1B system. Implement the F1 system. Also implement T1 (tomato bechne) and K1 (Khali sishi) system, will be allright, right away.

I don't see any need for third party to fuel theses kinds of demand made by Nepalese People in Terai.
Their demand is legit; in democracy minority ask and fight for their rights.

They were never represented in the political process and most " pahadis' tend to look down on them and also called them dhotis or even indian.

I don't see any reason why the should accept that ; an autonomous region is a legit demand.

Most lands in that reason are owned mostly by bahuns, thakuris and some locals which were granted as baksesh by Saha and Rana rulers. It can almost be termed slavery. They were opressed and didn't not even have nepalese citizenship.
Just check how many inspectors and CDO'S in that region are actually madhesi's.

Be critical people ; don't fall on the trap of political spin. Now maoist can't even control them nor the nepali congress so they are putting the blame on the King, Indian and other factors as desired by politians.

There is no such Indian involvement or anything in this terai revolt, it's just the wave of political changes that has triggered Nepal in the last year or so. All the madheshis' demands are acceptable and should be provided to them with immediate effect. Guys, don't ever forget they are just one of us, THEY ARE 110% NEPALIS!! We need them in the developement of our country, they are now better educated and more skilled than we pahadis, we need their skills and knowledge for the progress of our small country. Maoists are the fugging disgusting people of Nepal, look Prachanda blaming hindu extremist and monarchial forces behind terai revolt, but he doesn't say a word how maoists have betrayed madheshis, each maoists should be shot including Prachanda. Maoists are the biggest recession in the development of Nepal. Kill all the maoists, lock them up, just eradicate the name of maoism from Nepal! Then everything will be solved in Nepal. Plus, divide Nepal in two autonomous states/regions; pahad and madhesh, that will bring great economic boost in the country, urge to do better and develop more will bring great prosperities in both region, they will just be more motivated to develop their own regions! Pahadis and madheshis will live happily together forever and always!

Pahadis and madheshis are more than brothers, after all we have lived together for centuries!
