Im driving down to DC for thanksgiving....taking a roadtrip from Minneapolis down to DC!!!

Any suggestions for on-the way sightseeing??? or interesting places to visit??

that wont be a bad idea......but im planning to drive through north of Ohio....near lake erie.....what else is there in Columbus??? I'll need more than a stadium to take a detour through Columbus....on the plus point....i'll get to pass through West Virginia if i go through columbus.....which might be interesting.....hmm.....what else is there en route??

There might be an skiing resort now some where in Wva called Horse shoe skii resort. Don't know where that is though

dude don_key common how can you pass on Damn good roasted turkey with dark and white meat mixed (pick your color haha), mashed potatoes oh man dont even get me started with mashed potatoes and gravey just thinking about it makes my mouth all watery, then there is the pies pumpkin or what ever the hell you want oh man, ok i am gonna stop i am getting hugry haha but common all that for gettin drunk?? unless you get drunk with some girl aint worth it lol.

Old Country Buffet

The greatest thing about Thanksgiving is getting time off in middle of the week unlike the usual 3 day weekend with Monday off. Not really fond of turkey, i would rather eat roasted chicken. Love the pies though! I get very worke up anticipating the black friday sale :-) I go online, check out the deals..plan my shopping strategy, map out the stores etc etc and buy lots of stuff. This time I get to take my mom with me, so I am looking forward to that.
And then the football starts earlier in the week...love watching football...what more can I ask for?
