or there are some solutions or alternatives to Dual cititzenship. Why don't Nepal government tries to give permanent resident status to these peoples where they can invest, save their wealths ( Purkhellee Sampatis) and also make proud that they are still Nepalese.
PR Status will give them several advantages such as they don't have to apply for visas, they can invest in several sectors as Nepali Resident status etc.

Only thing they are not allowed is to vote. That's all.

Those national wealth are belonging to country mother land Nepal. They robbed and looted national wealth and properties while these corrupted criminals were working in Nepali Government Offices. Nepal must seize these illegal properties.

I think the biggest fear for giving out dual citizenship is to these corrupt leaders who believe their future would be bleak in doing so.
My question to those six people interviewed would be 'what is your contribution to Nepal?' If you take any one NRN at random and ask how much they've contibuted to Nepal in terms of financial remittance or just expertise in their field or adivice they've given to their relatives and quatifiy it over a period of a year, it will be more than what these six bozos will ever contribute to Nepal in their lifetime. One does not have to live in Nepal to help Nepal.
To the person who compares having dual citizenship to having two wives, wake up and smell the coffee or tea or whatever the heck you drink or smoke!
Personally I know I'm making a difference in Nepal by providing employment to people in Nepal, without a Nepalese citizenship. If they recognize my status that's great. But I'll always be a proud Canadian, who loves his birthplace/motherland Nepal. No one can take that away from me.

Well, as a Nepali, they have rights to demand Nepali citizenship. It is good to provide them citizenship if they have contributed or are willing to do so for the sake of our country, otherwise we should not.

We all need to wake up......if we don't wake up on time, then we will be left behind ….all the way behind that there will no reason or time to complain saying why and what! We should not expect everything from our Government as we all know what our government is busy doing. We have just two roads ahead of us. Either we as an individual need to take a step in what one can or just simply go with the flow, which we all know, and can see where it is going or taking us. As long as we don't educate people and give the right information there is no such person in this planet who can stop these people who are supporting (I call them opportunist) in the name of leaders who are fulfilling there demand and personal interest using these uneducated who hardly knows the FACT of there interest and what actually they are up to, supporting these so called smart people (leaders!) who does inputs wrong information in their brain (who hardly knows how to analyze what is what!) and make them do and follow what they please simply just to please their leaders dream come true. I know we all are tired of all the mess that is taking place back home and we here yell at each other now and then because we all don’t know what to do! We all want our motherland to be PEACE ZONE and see our all mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers happy and enjoying life with respect. We know that we don’t seem to find the right leader who can guide us in this modern era but let us not loose the hope because I know we all are marching towards to see real Nepal soon. But to see that we just need to WAKE UP and do the things that is right as individual. As long as we don’t act there is no one who can change our NEPAL but we as individual. Let us just do our part being positive in every field that we are into. I assure too all my fellow Nepali that we will get there where we have been longing to be from long time and that too it is up to us when we want that to happen. It is Right that Give Dual Citizenship to authentic Nepali thoese who do not have any criminal and corruption record.

But hang and jail to those who convicted crimes and any kind of corruption in Nepal and for country.

Forget Dual citizenship... do not even give citizenship to those national criminals.

I am just trying to say that although Dual Citizenship have been recognized everywhere, the concept is really confusing in the context of Nepal. They already have a problem giving citizenship to madhesi samudaya then how can they just give citizenship to NRN(Non Reliable Nepalese),
So i have already given the solution for that ie.Permanent Resident Status. The person who have citizenship from some other country, apply for PR status and enjoy every single advantage of it.

There should be Constitution, strick Law/Order, Rule and Regulation, and Monitoring systems.

You just do not give Citizenship to Indian Dothis and tate pangre people.

(1) Social criminal - Those who do marriage for green card, citizenship and wealth...after his intension complete... run away and escape. This kind of Nepali criminal live in foreign countries.

(2) National criminal - Those who take briberies and sell authentic Nepali citizenship. Those who take briberies, illegal commission, break law/order as well as those who do black-marketing, girl trafficking, smuggling etc.

If dual citizenship is not considered, Nepal will loose the generation who are born or brought up in the foreign country. If we keep the option of dual citizenship open, there is still chance that the foreign born generation can be linked up with Nepal and that the country can benefit from their educationk, skills, money or whatever...

On this issue, we have to be realistic rather than emotional.

I hear from all the other Internationals and even the natives of American Students in my college that we Nepali are very patriotic and very tightly bonded community. As this runs in my head all the time we are similar to other communities like......Italians,Chinese, Mexicans, and American Indians....where we value society, family, and friendship.
Therefore, no matter whatever they wanna do we will still have Love for our country, our family and relatives, and our friends back home. We will always go back to see them and even contribute somehow to see our country and society prosper. Dual citizens and realted stories are just a bureaucratic bullsh*ts.

And the best news is that the globalization of the world is speeding up day by day and there is nothing on the way strong enough to stop it. I say look at Israel which allows dual citizenship. The number of NRI (non resident Israeli) is several times more than the resident Israelis and they are scattered all over the world. And it is no secret that the real strength of Israel is these dual citizens. You may say we can not compare Nepal to Israel. I say you are only limited by your imagination.

Folks, DC is our sea, DC is our oil, DC is our Dollar, DC is our land several times larger than the map we have shown until now. DC is our passport to a powerful and glorious future that is in our reach. Lets own it.

In fact that....

Dual citizenship is very good IF Nepali government can handle very lawfully and sestimatically as well as with well management.

But Dual citizenship is NOT GOOD to give to or for ...

(1) Criminals and Corrupted people

(2) Country security


If well manage... it is good for...

(1) It ties families and relative with two countries...

(2) It helps to bring forigen currency into country as well as business

(3) People have Mentally peace in both countries.
