The new government passed a law which allows every people who has been livin in nepal since 2046 to achieve Nepali citizenship.. This means every Indians living in Nepal shall be eligible for the citizenship. Besides, there's no way to monitor who has been living in Nepal since back then.. Hence, our free border might encourage fake people to get citizenship... We are being Indianized.. and Our peoblem is that we're not united... This is leading to our downfall.. We are not fighing against this and soon we might be outnumbered to fight..... people believe Nepal to be a land to cheerful and pecaeful people.. BUt?? what next.. we are being replaced... We are losing our identity and our nationality... Where will I find my nepal now??? i might have to browse through books to see what kind of people lived in nepal because the new people are not Nepalese anymore... The government is beight backed up by Indians and taking these decisions.. Hence if you want your identity .. Fight against this.. Do watever u can WHY???? Consider this scenario... There's this country with fabolous natural resources.. Second richest nation in water resource, and a mecca for tourists. An extraordinory nation filled with exclusive floras and faunas. Timberowoods, virgin valleys and mineral resources yet to be utilized.. And we have this neighbourwith most people businnes minded. They are exploiters . They see money in everything and our virgin nation is a fabolous destiny for these people focked up by overpoulation... They need more place , more oppertunities .. They see money in our country and we are divided enough to let it go.. Take Tibet as an example.. Why would China, wanna invade a cold, dry rural area such as Tibet.. It did so because there's money involved in it.. They are over exploiting tibet and no nation has spoken against this because China is a global power and speaking against it might affect global economy. Likewise, India is a global power too and in case we are overruled it's useless to expect anybody to speak against it... When many Indians receive citizenship, they will be able to rise in power and hols major posts of our country and do watever they want.. They will ruin our nation... This is a serious problem and I wanna open everyones eye.. Please think about it. We are being replaced...

Does the Indian government give citizenship to Nepali living in India for lets say last 15-20 years? If they do, then I dont see why we shouldnt be doing the same in Nepal. But if India doesnt grant Nepalis citizenship regardless of how long they have lived there..then why bother giving citizenship to Indians? Unless they are married to a Nepali.

It is impossible to get US citizenship even if you stay in USA for 100 years unless you follow the correct process that US imigration law requires you to attain citizenship. And in what way Nepal is comparable to US????

Hey naam nai bhetina, you might be onto something here! this might be a very well planned plot by the indian policy makers. first, they finance and harbor the moaist to divide nepalis among each other. now if you have been reading the news lately, we have another group of outlaws in the name of "Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM)", which has been terrorizing few districts in the terai region for sometime now. just recently they brutally murder RPP leder and MP Shrestha for the sheer fact of him being "Pahadiya" leader of madhisi people. the reason i suspect india behind JIMM just as they were behind the maoist is because of the tactic in use. maoist's main goal was to abolish monarchy because they have been exploiting poor nepali for hundreds of years (thus they often speak about the history of suffering from nepalis in the hands of monarchs). taking advantage of unemployment and uneducation with india's financial backing they were able to sell their vision of "nepali dream" to the poors and hopeless.....well enough about the maoist because we all know how it went and how it is going. this was just to shed some light to talk about similar approach JTMM and maoist took. so, you might ask what is the main goal of JTMM?? well it is to create a seperate independence state of the madhise people. why have they started their own version of war?? because we all know the history of discrimination faced by terai people (example is all over us from the goernment to the army....lack or total absence of terai people). by making history their point of proof, JTMM is on the verge of starting another bloody affair with the government. just like with maoist, as long as JTMM will have india's financial support and harboring, that war will also never end....unless and ofcourse you compromise. say, your compromise with the moaist left you with abolished monarchy and citizenship laws easy for indians to be nepali citizen, what are you going to compromise with JTMM if such situation were to arrive?? well since we live in an EXTREMLY "democratic" country, so the only option left to stop the ethnic bloodbath would be via "Referendum".....BINGO! Close to 40% of currently nepalis are already of terai origin and after going thru the ethnic war don't tell me they will be voting for the "Pahadiyas", all india will have to do will do between now and then is to send 11% indians to make peole of terai origin be the majority. to sum it up, once you have 51% of population voting to be part of india....well we sure in hell be indians cuase it's democratic thing to do and in democracy majority rule!! wooooooo indians....ain't they a thing of beauty!!! :-)

Not to sound totally hopeless the optimism in me hopes and believes that our brothers and sisters from the terai region won't be used in the hands of indians unlike the maobadis. i know there is bitterness in the past and probably still exists to a certain extend, but together we can change it!! also, i'm sure you don't wanna be labeled with all sorts of stereotypes that comes with being indian....do ya? :p obviously not when you can represent the history of brave gorkhalis and pople with mind higher than mt. everest and heart winder than the himalays!!

You can't find any laws in any countries in the world like Nepal has. Same as, you can't find any leaders in the world like in Nepal. Sabai buddi bigreko bhrasta Neta haru. They know how to make country worst. Thats what they are doing. Whenever I think about those leaders it makes me feel so angry.

As far as I know, they ae just discussing about the issue. They won't passthe law until U.S. govenment makes the decision about illegal immigation and giving them green card. Nepali govt is just following the footsteps of US govt. You see, we don't have green card system in nepal. If we did, we could pass the law just to give green card to those ppl.
