'to buy "a" ticket' means that either "only" the kidnapper went for a trip to aereal tramway alone using her money if it is a case of kidnapping, or the girl herself alone if it is a case of "runaway' as loote pointed out.

The video report says that one of the employee in the restaurant saw her on the 22nd, and the dogs recognised her smell. So, I am seriously praying that it was her and not someone else that bought the tram tickets and that it is a runaway case. But, I personally knew Pratistha and she was never a despondent girl, she was always motivated and responsible and I can't believe she would do something like that.
This case is confusing me even more.

It will be so bad if it is a runaway case. Police might charge her a lot for all their efforts and costs in her searching plus some jail serve.

The good thing is that she's alive. So let's just look for her safe return, and the other mysteries will be revealed itself.

Seems so weird to me. I'm sure once she's found she's gonna check sajha and all...and I'm sure now that she's alive and well. However, what baffles me is IF SHE REALLY WANTED TO runaway why go on top of a hill? I mean not even bollywood teaches a stupid stunt like that. And where would she run away? and with who? In the US she doesnt have any relatives. So being in the US itself would be considered running away if she fell in love with a guy. A white guy?..not very likely cuz she does seem a very wholesome girl.
I'm thinking more along the lines of kidnapping. But wtf, who'd kidnap a foreign exchange student? Yet again, if you think about it, would the kidnapper have known that she's foreign exchange? She probably spoke english very well and a lot of times nepali girls are mistaken for spanish or even arabic- people with a long history of stay in the US. I'm thinkin this is a kidnapping case.

But then, why check your voicemail? Did the kidnapper check her voicemail to find out if there was any news going around town? usually fear grips the man in guilt.

The most ridiculous thing is the gondola thing. Who go up a hill and ride a gondola when you're running away....that still makes me laugh actually....but if it is a kidnap case it could very well be that the kidnapper was trying an alternative way out as the roads are being checked by police now.

Just a few more days before she's spotted.

I dont know what kind of family you grew up in, but the type I have don't use words like STUPID to hit on people. Maybe its the water or the air they breathe, or the lack the same that causes STUPIDITY. I know they have free health insurance up in Canada, but Canadians are yet to realize that YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!
