Hi all:

I am curious to find out about the procedures for H-1 sponsoring. My employer is willing to sponsor me, but since it is a small company and I am the only foreigner, he does not know the process. It would be great if somebody could explain me the steps in easy format so I can explain it to my employer. What are the things I need to do from my side, and what are the things he needs to do? One more thing, since this is a non-profit organization, I also would like to know if they can sponsor a foreign employee through the H1-B process.
