This incident has troubled me and I did all the research or fact finding with my limited resources, my opinion is that it has to be maobadis.

I dont think maobadi will giveup violance regardless of political change in landscape. If they do I will be suprised.

But what do I know.

It was maoists who were demanding 3 crores from Dr. Dixit and it is Maoists who shot at him. Maoists are roaming and extracting money in Kathmandu with arms and police and army doing nothing. The credit goes to NC b/c UML is already communist and their ideology is not that different from maoist ideology. Their are others who are threatened too like some Rana who has major share in Kathmandu Med college and some docs of Om Hospital. Om Hospital is known to be chorr hospital but din dahadey extortion and killing is jungle rule of terrorists which has been ushered into KTM by girijey saley !

this is really unfortunate event. person like dr dixit which has contributed to our society was shot by the maoist and this shameless government is trying to hide them by saying that some "unidentified" people shot him. if the government loves the maoists so much why don't they declare that openly and declare that baburam is the president? why don't they declare that anyone who kills people for some political agenda will from now on be a hero and is welcome to join the government?

its a shame that we have leaders like these and we have people who are willing to accept murders as leaders..shame shame shame
