Michael Schumacher has pledged to donate 10 million benjamin's to the Tsunami relief efforts. Still to hear if the Gordons, Busch's, and the Earnhardt's can part with any of their money being the redneck squeaks they are.

It's good that Mr Formula One donated $10 mil to the Tsunami victims. Kudos to him. His bodyguard was also the victim of Tsunami. I dunno if that was the reason for his generosity toward Tsunami victims, before this I have never heard (could be me being in US) any pledge from Mr Formula One. It's ill to think that the Nascar drivers need to pledge to victims as well. If they do that's great if not that's fine too. I will still try to make time to watch Nascar on Sundays. Rame and Shyame could have donated the money that does not mean you have to donate as well. You do what your heart tells ya, and let others do the same.

Schumacher makes the most money( around $60 million a year salary)...in sports( if u call F1 a sport)..anyway..still $10 million is a huge money..he could do so much with it...buy so many Ferraris..and waht not..oh wait...He drives Ferrari...at work...gets Ferraris for free lol...but still hats off him.. If I was pro athlete..or anybody...who made more than $5 million a year..then it would hurt to donate ..lets say 10k to the victims..its not asking much..esp when they can spend 100k on bling bling..:/ Last tiem I checked there were only 7 nba players that were committed to giving some money.. where is Mr. Woods? Linkin Park donated..100k U2 as always is always up for help...

How can u know cuz sometime i have seen u also act like those redneck squaeks. In addition u are an arrogant YANKEE fan. Dude he is always respected. U being in NY and u say u dunno what he have done. NY the hearquarrter of UN. He is the biggest private donor for UN charities. He is the first public figure who was chosen UN ambassador for peace. He gives $2 million to Unesco every year to UNESCO in addition funding other UN projects.

I will still try to make time to watch Nascar on Sundays When ur race track are funded by public $$$$ than yes u do have obligation to give something back to society. AS we all know NASCAR fans are mostly from RED STATES and the economy of that RED STATES ARE MAINLY MILITARY INDUSTRIES. We are the biggest dealer of ARMS in world so definitely those sucker owe to this 3rd world countries ppl. Eventhough its not similar but i hate to wear nike products. M. J. makes huge sum of $$$ but when he gives he is stingy as hell. NIKE products are made by prison inmates for free. I do stand by that and have gotten in problem too cuz i refuse to wear NIKE jersy while playing Volleyball for my school during our national championship running.

Elder Schunacher is my personal fav. Used to watch the races back home. But now i can hardly make it to the news. Even then, his generosity, irrespective of his body being a victim or not, is comendable. Sometimes all we need is a nudge, to make us understand, that we all need each other. I hope all these big money players, business tycoons wud be as generous. Peace to the souls of deceased, and courage and serenity to the survivors. IndisGUise:-l
