Hello All,
I am on my STEM OPT with full time permanent job on IT. I am thinking of going to Nepal to get marry. But i am not sure either it will be a good idea to fly back Nepal and get marry or better to get marry over here in US. My finance is a US citizen so not sure either there will be a problem for me as a F1 STEM opt to reenter back. Does anybody went to this situation? Reply would be highly appreciated.
Thankyou

If asked at POE about your trip and the marriage, you could be denied entry now that you have shown immigrant intent by marrying a US citizen while F1 is non immigrant visa. You don’t have to disclose if not asked. It’s a possibility. I suggest you marry in the US.

Get married legally here even if you do the religious ceremony back home. Makes it much simpler eventually for paperwork and stuff.
