What will happen if you travel Nepal with US passports? 

I don't get it. Everyone can travel to Nepal with US passport with valid visa which you can get at TIA. Please be specific.

U will have to pay for Visa..thats the only difference...No more Free entry to nepal.

Process!!!!! R u kidding!!! once you reach Ktm airport immigration desk, tell them,"Give me effing visa".

अनि भिसा निबेदन को लास्टमा "श्रीमानको जो विचार" भनेर लेख्न नछुटाउने.

यति गरे पछि १२.५% चान्स हुन्छ भिसा पाउने|

I am not trying to drag any body but was and am curious if any one been to Nepal after the constitution out and what is their experience.
All around the world Constitution is the supreme law of land if they practice democracy. Just wanted to be update in this matter. Yes I posted it from work and I have very hard time with my fat thumb to type.

The new constitution talks about giving out non resident nepali citizenship but nobody has come up with any laws yet. Till they pass some laws regarding the citizenship, the existing law is implemented. So for now, all US passport holders need a visa to go to Nepal unless you have an NRN ID card.

if you have nepali passport and us passport, can't you just show nepali passport and not have to pay for visa?

You definitely can show ur nepali passport to enter Nepal, but you have to show US passport while exiting Nepal. If they don't see arrival stamp/record on your US Passport, two cops will escort you to the detention area.....

Lets say you used Nepalese passport to enter Nepal. On the way out, u have to show US Passport for them to let u pass the immigration counter. Once they look at you US Passport, they will be like,"sir ko ta Visa pani chhaina, arrival stamp pani haneko rainachha, kaile aaunubho, kasari chhirnubho"
You'll say, "Nepali Passport chha ni ta tyo dekhayera chhireko ni." That's when he will call the cops and you will be detained for lots of questioning n fines n whole lot of problems.

This means so far none has traveled to Nepal after new constitution.
