I had recently posted about supporting Dr. Rahim's selfless advocacy for Nepal relief (http://sajha.co/?113034) and I have been following his enthusiasm in a group conversation in Facebook.

We have an amazing personality in Dr. Rahim, who has been travelling off to different cities to connect with Nepali communities all over the US at his own expense. It would be difficult to find a compelling ally and advocate like him who already has an empire of selfless actions built around his non profit JRM Foundation.

During these times, we have seen a lot of well meaning Nepalis who have worked selflessly to garner support for the Earthquake victims and their personal efforts are all worthy of exceptional kudos. In addition to own personal initiatives, I encourage everyone to take some time to understand what Dr. Fahim is trying to do.

He is trying to get a mass movement going on among the Nepalis in US, so that a strong voice is heard among the US lawmakers and ultimately the government of the US, who will have to make an active effort to send a bigger and better help package to Nepal, which will be far more outreaching than anything we can hope for.

He has already started his $100 million dollar challenge alongside his personal commitment whereby he and his family has personally donated over 30 thousand dollars already. (https://www.crowdrise.com/NepalEarthquakes2015)

When he heard of the earthquake devastation in Nepal, he dropped everything to go to Nepal with his team. Thousands of Nepalis have been positively affected by Dr. Fahim's ground work in Nepal, and it continues to reach more via his organizations still providing relief work in Nepal. At the same time, hundreds of Nepali youth have been positively inspired to join Dr. Fahim's movement in order to continue the help on ground, additional fundraisers for the cause and more importantly for soliciting the US government to take a more proactive relief action in Nepal, where the death, destruction, injury, child trafficking and obliteration of social strata is overwhelming and alarming.

Dr. Fahim is making some presentations in the following cities, please keep out an open eye for an event near you. Your support is needed.
