Have any one tried sending iPhone 4 or s in nepal. Can we unlock this phone in nepal? Since it uses the micro sim does NTC or any carrier has this type of sim or any other alternative ? Please share your experience if you have?

 It works using Gevey Sim given that iPhone 4 is for AT&T. Verizon model won't work. Unlocking is not mandatory. U can unlock using the Gevey Sim if the phone is jailbroken. You can buy Gevey Sim for $5 on ebay. Just make sure the phone is jailbroken or jailbreakable. iOS 5 is not jailbreakable.

 I haven't found a site that provides untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0. There is one semi-tethered jailbreak but you need a macbook. I think it's the one from pod2g. If you wish to use it in Nepal using Gevey Sim, I suggest you find an untethered jailbreak.
