All of us Nepalese in foreign soil need to watch this video and think about our fellow country men and womens. We were the fortunate ones and we are living a luxurious life here. You may not agree about the use of the word "luxurious" but yes we do have a far better life than the ones living back home. We left our country so that we can do something for ourselves but this video made me think "Is it worth it to fight for the pennies all your life so that you can drive a better car, have a better vacation, have a nicer home?" We Nepalese know our country is getting poorer and poorer every day and no body cares. No body does anything for the country and its citizen not government, not political parties, not foreign countries. We need to step forward and do something for our country no matter how small it is. Our brothers and sisters are struggling to live and cant even make it through. We are here working our butt off and being selfish. I do not appreciate the way I am living anymore (eventhough i have a descent life here). I dont think I can stay here and keep watching these kinds of news. My aim: If i can do something for the people back home no matter how tiny it is, i see a point to live here, otherwise I will go back to my country and struggle to improve somebody else's life. I dont think i can die with a guilt that I did nothing for my country when I could have done many things.

I had a big lump in my throat watching the full video. It's totally disheartening. I feel sorry for their loss. I hope they get strength to move forward, but I can't console myself seeing their condtion. I feel deluded in thinking the word 'hope' as something even remotely tangible.

Isn't it pathetic that the whole disaster could have been avoided if the government had done something before that incident ? It's not worth my words talking about these eunuchs in power, whose Pancha Barsiya Yojana keeps on extending indefinitely. And knowing that there are hundreds of villages living precariously under same conditions scares me about impending disasters. Are these villagers supposed to sulk and accept grim reality and wait for the imminent calamity to happen ? We are indeed poor, better yet destitutes. Not only we lack financial capital, but also we lack morality.

The kid who survived metaphorically describes our country. If he hadn't jumped he would have been dead. We need to jump out of this turmoil before there is a solution or a serious resolve from our political machine- for we all know these people will jump first like rats out of the sinking ship.

I am in a verge of losing my sanity. Sometimes, I just wish i would just not see/read news from Nepal - 95% of time I am sure I would be disappointed. Unfortunately, I can't bury my head under sand like an Ostrich and pretend oblivious of condition in Nepal.

Sabaile Pashupatinath ko rakshya garun.

This is really sad and the truth of our country. Like busenitz said, no body gonna do anything to our country. Government is a joke and the political parties are just hungry dogs. Thats how our country is. Its up to us if we wanna do something for our country or keep watching our people getting killed by the negligence of the so called 'goverment'.

Maan chune sarai nai dhuka lagdo gatana thiyo yo. Lagcha sabai le aak patak yo samachar herau ani "BICHARA" bhanau ani birshau. K yo kura ko kunai chetra lai chaso bhayo? Auta jhulenge pool banauna kati lagcha??? k yesko lagi hami le sarkar ko muukh taknu parcha.. Can we do something by ourselves? Can we collect money and donate to make the jhulenge pool?  I think at least we can start. I think if nothing is done so far than we should do something as a humanity and for self satisfaction? Ma kunai paisa bhayeko manche hoina tara if we can do something than I am ready to contribute.
