Dear Sajhaites,
   I am starting my new job as DATA ANALYST in two weeks. I am excited but nervous at the same time because this is my first job out of college. Can anyone tell me what to expect on the first day, how to prepare for the first day and what are the few things you need to know to succeed as a data analyst?
  Any info will be highly appreciated.

Data Analyst is a quite big area which coveres data mining, business intelligence and so forth.
Do you know what tool you will be using as that will give much idea what you will be expecting at the work.
On a personal note, do not take too much stress now. When I got my job and I had a week to start...I had fun all week without thinking too much of work I knew that once I start work, I will have less time for fun. So enjoy this time. this is the best time- you are free but you know you are working in a week.
