Why Wall Street hates Solar Stocks?
The P/E for LDK is so low around 2.28. It is all around the solar industry. What do you guys think of this. Please post your views.

Guys.....market did a dramatic uptrend right at 2:45 eastern. This could be the end of market correction and a good time to buy some good stocks.

all my opinions are short term , i dont believe in holding stocks long term, the longest I have held a stock is a week, my policy is take profits while u can and move on to another

S is definitely not a buy rt now
BAC is tanking so bad rt now and it aint even oversold yet
GLD ...i feel that would be good for holding for 6 months or a year cuz its always gonna be scarce, but buy when everyone's getting rid of it not when its in hype like rt now

INTU ...todays candle is awesome on that one, give it a couple of days MACD jst crossed over

Thanks TOL. My logic for choosing these stocks are
I believe S has great future because of its service or it might get acquired. If acquired it wil shoot up and now only sprint being the carrier that offers free data consumers will be on the rise.
BAC is reaching bottom or close to it and GLD is just betting against Feds.
Intu I am confused they have to capture more asian and european markets to grow exponentially. In america I guess everyone is using quickbooks and they have been hovering around 50 for so long. I am sure they won't go down but they seem to be not making upward progress.

I think sprint started its downfall with the ATT and Tmobile merger...they are ganging up on it now ....i dont know for sure but the issue was still amongst legalities of some sort..monopoly or what not ....its approaching oversold levels so if you were to buy it buy it at the oversold levels

anyways some more scan results ....(jst for fun) ...dont blame me if you buy it and lose money..I plan to buy VITC and YTEC ...I always get chinese stocks on my scans ...dunno whats up with that

It looks like i can get good suggestion on this thread. I have AONE on my watchlist for  sometime now & its on its low @ 4.93.It is good to buy this stock now or wait for a while. Is this a good stock anyway?

@dalbhat  AONE its pretty much trading sideways rt now the default MACD shows it could go either way but a faster setting shows it going upwards ...but until the chart starts showing some direction ....i suggest you wait it out

I got into VITC at open YTEC was a no show ...no volume

I am interested in finding out the oversold American companies that does good business in China and other emerging world...such as LVS, F, and CAT, BA, and C

Good  pick on VITC.

LVS no definite direction on the charts as of now

F it came off a double bottom a couple of days ago, not within my price range i play 1 - 5 (my strategy of minimizing risk and realizing profits its heading towards oversold levels so keep that on your watchlist

CAT bounced off of the 30 line on the 13th so too late to the party

BA approaching oversold levels ..watch support around 200 MA line 70.26

C too late to the party came off of a triple bottom, man than reverse split sure messed things up for CITI ....for some reason I see future for citi though

This are the results i came up with when i ran bigboard stocks coming out of oversold levels

ASEI watch for the two MA lines if 50 bounces off of 200 then its good to go

AFT dont like the chart for some reason

AF ..not enough juice

CYBX hopeful abt this one

GLPW todays candle looks good , hopeful

NX looks good

again these are opinions based on 30 seconds of me looking at the charts , its not exactly what you are looking for ...but its something to watch

Which brokerage service do you guys use. I use ameritrade and I think they are expensive.

if you are a day trader, i would say ride that bull/bear. if you truely want to invent, i would say stay cash and wait until EU crisis is sorted out.

I use a couple actually cuz more than half my trades are daytrades

ETRADE PRO ..awesome ..level 2 quotes kinda suck ,have to keep refreshing it though it works and its free..awesome charting tools and strategy scanner though , 9.99 a trade ...but worth it

ZECCO used to give 5 free trades a month and 4.95 a trade , but no more those suckers had to up it ...its 6.95 a trade now ..have to pay for level2s and charts ...but if you are jst trading big boards its fine

SPEEDTRADER...the best platform for pennystocks..really lives up to its name ...6.90 a trade ,

optionshouse is 3.99 a trade the last time i checked ..good for big board stocks i guess they charge per share for pennystocks...so i dont use them ...no first hand experience on this one

I use scans for finding stocks which are coming out of oversold levels and macd crossovers  ...because they perform fairly well (holding period 2-3 days with tight stop losses of course
check my scan results on this thread as well as another thread from friday ...those are all my scan results and predictions on one of my posts where i mention LLNW to sidster...and see how they perform...not to brag or anything but they have been delivering 10 to 15 percent consistent gains  90 percent of the time ......maybe m on a streak since i started posting on sajha ...lol  i should post more often
I use stockcharts.com for which i pay monthly around 35 bucks for custom scans because their default or predefined scans(which is good for bigboards not for microcaps) is pretty slow when i run them for microcaps mainly being $1-$5 stocks ... i run faster scans

their default is 12,26,9 on MACDs i run 6,13,5 or even 4,11,3
jst play around with the numbers ...ya know but also keep in mind that your settings will enable the chart to look like what u want too so dont go too fast on them

dunno if m makin any sense got a couple of yuenglings down ...hehe later

My chinese stock is not doing well. JASO, VISN...Just waiting for breakeven and I am out of there.

for JASO i think it bottommed off a couple of days ago....it jst made a higher high...look for a higher low but if it hits that previous lower low of  5.00  then its an ultimate sell ..it should lows make a couple of days and then trend upwards ....if it actually is starting an uptrend
  it has resistance around 5.75 and 5.83 area ...when it is making a the next high watch that area too
(i would sold way earlier today ...but thats jst me...a DAYTRADER )

i think the same goes for VISN...hihger highs and higher lows for an uptrend and lower highs and lower lows for a downtrend  but isee decent buy volume in VISN today

3-4 pm is power hour for daytraders thats when swinging stocks make wide swings watch that  timeframe for chinese stocks

again jst my opinions

I have been reading these stocks post here in sajha and m kinda interrsted in this too. I want to get started in this too. I am still in school and can't invest big amount.
1. How much should I invest at least to make significant earning?
2.what is the best brokerage for starters with small budget. By best, i mean low trading fees, online/offline assistance and stuffs like that.

AONE pushed it too , i run faster scans myself and told u not to buy on a faster scan hope that didnt alter ur trading strategy ...sorry mate

@cajunboy ...my suggestion is papertrade for a while in the beginning ...do not put real money until u get the hang of the market
make predictions based on charts and when those predictions start coming close to what the stock does then its time to make some cash
its all about making small but consistent gains and not a get rich quick scheme
