Can you guys share experiences recommendation getting quality hearing aid in Nepal?  This is for an elderly man with pretty severe hearing loss so it seems off the shelf aid that you get in the US might not be the best solution.  It would be best if he could get checked out in Nepal and a hearing aid customized according to the test results.

Appreciate the input!

you can't just buy the device randomly. You need to test the hearing pitch of the patient. When you attempt to buy the device they will need all pitch level to determine which is appropiate for the patient. I recommend take the patiend to the hearing specialist and get all measurement so you can buy the right aid. I got one for my mom's last year for $950.00 US dollar just for left ear.

good luck
