Last year i bought a toyota and since it was my first car i think i rushed a little bit. I ended up getting hustled to get an extended warranty for 1900. can i cancel it after a year? how would i go about cancelling it. please suggest..

I think 1 year could be a stretch, but you can still try. 1st thing is to talk to the person who sold you the warranty and ask him/her about the cancellation process. Since technically the extended warranty doesn't apply until the factory warranty expires, so you may have a chance.
I cancelled mine a week after purchasing, and it took them 2 months to refund. They always made excuses like the person is on vacation and stuff like that. But I was pretty persistent till I got full refund.If it doesn't happen, maybe you can negotiate lowering the price or get more coverage from what you have now. You may still be better off with extended warranties since Toyotas aren't reliable these days, but you can buy cheaper online at warrantydirect.com or something. No need paying extra money to the dealers if they don't agree on lowering the price or giving you a better coverage.

The problem is the dealership got bought over by another dealership and i think all the sales people , financial managers are laid off.. myan, i can't believe i paid so much money to get such stupid policy.

Just called on the number listed on the policy paper. They will cancel right away. But it may take a while to get money back...
