Your are right. There is nothing wrong about trying to sing a song but it is not a good idea to try to run before you start learning how to walk.

I liked the song posted by "i_nepali" (second one on this thread). I  enjoyed it. There are a lot of things Kiran can learn from him.

Now, I would like to draw your attention away from Kiran to someone else. I am not sure how his reputation is but I have to say that he has one of the most irritating voice in Nepali music industry. It is not becasue that he can not sing but the fact the way he sings really gets into my nerve and to make matter worse, which I have already mentioned a bit in my earlier posting, he tries to mix English with Nepali. In one of his song, the lyrics goes like this....." this is the colour of the friendship baby..." I wonder if this singer is aware how he pronounced "colour".  Correct me if I am wrong but I think the singer goes by the name of Anil Singh or something like that.

I am not 100% sure who sang this song but I will have it uloaded for your listening and I think it is high time that Nepali singer  get their diction right before trying to sing in other languages. Just because one can hit the note does not mean that he can sing in foreign tongue. The artiste should know jolly well that the current generation of Nepalese listen to music widely stop trying to fool us.

It seems Mr Kiran resides in Hong Kong or some Asian country. Just want to let you know, there's nothing wrong with the music, video or the model, not even your voice. It's the accent.

lol....metallica n narayan gopal at the same time...sounds like the mind of a volatile freak....potentially in a confused state of life...also, whats up with that accent? holy cow...the song is actually worse than a high school drama where people used to sing english songs at the stage with "jhang jhyang"  of the guitar and some "hoarse" voice at the background....lol

Bibas100, I do listen Metallica, Sambhu Rai,Mozart, Beethoven, BB king, SRV, Johny Lee Hooker, George Straits, Garth Brooks,Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Red Indian music and many others. So are you saying that puts me in the catogary of people with volatile freak ?

Personally, I don't think so.

I listened to some of his other songs and He is a pretty decent guitar player. He should stick with singing Nepali than English. The song would have been much better if it was in Nepali.

i have already commented about the song, read my previous posts in the same thread before you start commenting on others.

i dont think you have something called common sense. you are now started commenting about what people like to eat, wear, listen, see etc etc.

if you like red colour, it doesnot mean everybody should like red colour. it also doesnot mean red colour is the best. 

Who wouldn't like ASS colour ?
I was chatting with my friends in Nepal, and they were saying how Kiran Gurung is taken as a joke by everyone except people in his circle. Too bad with all the money spent, he doesn't get the respect he wants. BTW, who ever said he plays guitar very well, u r wrong. He can play guitar as any Nepali brothers can do these day, but by no mean he is good. He is what we call it a "Tukre Ustad". So I think it will be wise for him to stay away from music all together and let other talented people do it. He can produce these talented people with his fortune though. That would probably give him some respect actually.
