Madhesi leaders seek Indian backing

NEW DELHI, Feb 9 - Madheshi leaders have urged Indian leaders to cooperate in helping them attain their demands for federal structure, constitutional right to Hindi language and assurance of their representation in parliament and all other organs of government.
In a press meet organized at the Press Club of India by Madheshi Front, a recently organized joint forum of Madhesi People's Rights Forum (MPRF), they urged Indian leaders to help preserve their identity in Nepal.
The Madhesi leaders also said the Prime Minister's address on Wednesday was a positive step to resolve the issues of Madhesi groups. They however, expressed doubt over the implementation of the government's commitment in this regard.
Lawmaker of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Renu Yadav, one of the members in the 40-member team, said, "They came to India to apprise Indian leaders about the problems faced by Madhesi people in Nepal."
During their three-day visit to India, Madhesi leaders also handed over a two-page long memorandum to Indian leaders. The memorandum has sought help from Indian leaders in collecting census of the Terai region before constituent assembly polls and assurance that the land of Madhesis will not be provided to non-Madhesis in the name of land reforms.
The Madhesi delegation also met General Secretary of Communist Party of India AB Bardan, Speaker Prakash Jabedkar and lawmaker Ananda Singh.

Mr. Bahunkto, Mr. NEPS, Mr. Rahulvai, Mr. ne23pe, there is nothing we can do anything about it. When every political leaders in Nepal, including Maoist and King cannot do or succeed in any of their move without approval of India why do we blame only Madhesi's on this. Do you think, our 8 political parties would have been succeed without India's support last year to restore democray or would King would have been failed so easily in Nepal if he was able to please India. I don't think so dude. Every move in Nepal is being taken by Indian leadership using the incompetency of Nepali leaders. King tried to be friend with China and other neighbouring country sidelining India and he is facing the consequences. Just stop playing blaming game and accusing others of wrong doing when you have fault in your own leadership.

We really can not do anything when our own leaders are cowards, but I can tell you one thing we can point things here and there so if there are people who want to learn from it they will, if not at least we tried. ALL madhesi who want separate nation in the country should be kicked out of country like bhutan kicked nepalese origin of bhutani from bhutan. These MotherF* madhesi who are demading their nation are all from bihar and UP during the time of our Junga bahadur when East india company gave us some district back to us. They started migrating to our land. THese fock* ers ass needs to be blown up and subside their demand instead of giving the autonomous region to them. We nepalese in any way should not compromise to the demands of Madhesi( i am talking about the autonomous zone).I certainly understand some of their demads. They are not the only people suffering poverty and discrimination, there are several people from mountain and hilly region too. We all pahade should be ready to fight and subside their andolan.

Tapain ko superior way of analyzing capacity dekhera i was surprised but need some points that should hit the aerrow straight, be reliable and valid. maobadi andolan definitely started with gun because when maobadi did not get the job done by using the pen. violence is not always the solution after the point where we get some path to get through. maobadi has come to the parliamentary system after decade long of violence. The revolution was utmost and necessary to bring change in the country. the blood and sweat suckers who used to suck nepali janta in the past with confidence has now need to think 100 times before doing that.There is a control in the society which has created the atomosphere where the pig in the high position has stepped back from the utilzation of their position to deposit the dollar in swiss bank. Had our revolution not gone through the country we would have gotten to the point where rich would go richest and poor would go poorest.
I agree to the fact that so many innocent has gotten scapegoat during the period. maobadi definitely apologizes such discrimation and violence against innocent but appreciates the crackdown of people who do corruption and inequality.

so far you are talking about madhesi, we should definitely feel their some rational demand not the demand that takes the piece of our motherland to them. real madhesi are not imported from BIhar and INdia. The real madhesi never demand the different country because they are nepali not bihari. The bihari hidden under the mask of madhesi should not be compromised at any cost.
