Ind. student charged in fatal shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A university student was charged with reckless homicide after authorities say he fatally shot a recent graduate outside an apartment.
Ghamdan Mohammed Abolohom, 23, from Yemen, was shot in the chest about 8 p.m. Sunday and later died at a hospital, authorities said.

Police arrested Subash Chandra Rai, 21, a University of Indianapolis senior from Nepal, and charged him in Abolohom's death.

When officers arrived at the apartment, about a mile from campus, they found Abolohom lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his chest. No other details of the shooting or what led to the arrest were immediately released.

Abolohom graduated May 6 with a degree in economics/international business, said school spokeswoman Mary Atteberry.

mansion I agree. We need to get the proper litigation details. Who saw him? What was this guy's relationship with the Yemeni guy? Was he merely accused or caught red-handed? Who is following up with such details? Is the nepalese society in IN doing anything? We cant be judgmental without knowing the details? The media hypes a lotta things, and twists stories so that the readers see what they want them to see !!

If polices were always right, then why are some prisoners being released after 45 years of serving for crimes they didn't commit. who arrested them? police? Polices are not always right, and this could be a setup for Rai. Don't jump to conclusions and don't believe the media's first output on the event!

while the case you know few years back..scott peterson ..he was convicted without forensic evidence and convicted according to circumstantial evidence....because he is not celebrity...

yeah scott peterson is also murderer,,,the thing i was talking about is celebrity,...Oj SIMPSON and balke were proven not guilty despite lots of forensic evidence...but in the civil lawsuit they lost the case...as a result they need to pay millions of dollars...
