Does anybody know what went wrong with my music players It says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly." and its the same thing if i try with other players... counting on you guys for help thanxx.

and also I see that you have a "other device", click on to multimedia Audio controller and hit delete then OK... After ure done deleting everythng restart ure system. Once it get restarted, it will tell u "new device found" and will install the driver by itself.. if ure OS is unable to determine the driver for ure device (soundcard) u will need to search for the CD's that came with ure system if not the u will have to open the CPU, look for which sound card is it and search for the driver online.
