Don't they make all bahun/chettri girls pierce their nose? Back in the days, it wasn't a choice for bahun/chettri girls. Piercing and Tattoing has been practised in Nepal historically. I have seen a lot of Madeshi women with body tattoing. Aren't we progressive?

I see ur concern. I have maa done a long time back. Honestly, it does hurt a lil bit, not while u?re getting it done but afterwards. Esp. when u sit up and down, work out, and sleep (depends if u sleep face down). After piercing, u?ll have to contd cleaning the area for a month or so; they?ll give u ointment and direction as well. I think all the pain is worth taking, it feels good after u get it done. Also keep u motivated to keep ur tommy flat. About parents concern, it?s not like u?re going to be showing it off when u?re parents are around. So don?t worry abt it till they find out . Hehe?. Good luck?.

hey ruina.. i think u should get one if u really like it...there is no harm... i had my navel pierced 3 yrs ago.. hurts a lil bit while doing it.. but believe its not that bad... after a week or 2.. things would be normal... n yea... u gotta clean it all the time..u don't want any infection...i had to wash it with that anti-bacterial dial soap 3 times a day...well about parents yelling at u... no comments on that...hehe.. but if u clean it n take care of it there is a less chance of getting an infection...(no gurantee though... just my experience)!! good luck!!!
