We all neplese know how corrupted all these netas are... but our KG is also not a person of truth and justice. I can understand, why u want to support KG rt. now... it does look like working as there is not any nepal banda going on in kathmandu. But we need to understand that, Kathmandu alone is not Nepal... and we do not have any distinct news about what is going on in the villages and even inside ktm. As for now media will show whatever KG wants to show. Do u think after he gets all the power, all his cabinet members will work truthfully.. without ghush/selfish benefits. Try to understand, this step may look like ok for now... but in long term it won't be.... we do not want another panchayat shashan in our country ...
I too hope that everyth will be fine. But we should look at both sides.

I do understand your opinion too...I am cautiously welcoming the move..in the hopes things become good !!! Like someone said in some other thread King knows very well that he is gambling his throne and life by making this move!

I am pessimistic because:

1. King G did not do the Coup for Nepal People, he did to save himself from the Maoist and Girija.

2. King G does not have support of Nepali people (only few upper class rich people and their kids who post on Sajha.com)

3. He does not have the experience of politics, he did this in such a haste without getting approved from the International.

4. He could NOT fix his own kid PARAS, how do you expect to fix 27 million people!!!!

Although I crave for democracy I do not see nepalese people actually deserve it. During various intermittent regimes of so called leaders, the democracy lost its effect and rather looked like anarchy.

1. I would rather live in a regime of one fool than be fooled by 200 morons.
2. A leader is not neccessarily a politician...go read books and search what leadership means.
3. The people who do not write in sajha.com go to colleges and instead of studying...get indulged in politics...call themseleves leaders...they do not understand that a good student can make a better leader.

I strongly believe that the greatest contributor for these politicians and officials to become Gusyaa and corrupt are no one other than Nepali janatas.

Every nepali janatas is divided between party lines. When "afnoo manche or afnoo party ko manche" lae illegal or ghuss khane or corrupt kam garcha everyone belong to that party keep their mouth shut. It's only when they see the people of other party doing the same thing they shout it out.

That is the very mentality of nepali political culture.
