Muncha was very reliable in the past, however there is significant delays in depositing funds to bank account in Nepal for past few months. I stopped using Muncha and now using Prabhu Money Tranfer. They are pretty fast and also have better exchange rate. Hope this helps.

Yah. Muncha take their sweet time to deposit money in bank. The exchange rate is not trure. Sometimes its better in muncha and sometimes its better in Prabhu. But prabhu charges money for transfer while any transfer over 50$ is free in munchaa.

I've used Thamelremit and so far I'm satisfied with it. Rates are similar to muncha and better than western union and money gram or zoom.
The site is very easy to use. They do take 3-4 business days to complete the transaction however I've had to call them to make an exception and make sooner deposits. They did not have a problem with it.

Is there any fee that a US bank charge for transferring money via Muncha, Prabhu, or Thamelremit? Last time I inquired, the banking transfer fee is like $50 for international.

There are no fees for any amount over $50 for muncha to transfer money. U just add ur account details and they will only take out the money you requested to transfer. I am not sure on others never tried it. But like many other suggested their timeline to deposit the money is awful. Once they took me 3 weeks and couple of phone calls from here and Nepal to get the money deposited. Hope is helps!

jerry.
Fees are never charged by the bank when you use 3rd party companies.
In fact, the 3rd party company doesn't even charge any fees on their end in most of the cases.
They make their money from the exchange rate.

Stay away from money gram and western union. They charge you fees and up to 4rs below the market value.
