Hello saathiharu, Has anyone had a successful EB2/NIW petition with USCIS? Please share your experience and what do you think is the most contributing factor for the success? People say it has to be the citations of your papers. Is it true in your case?

It seems Celebrity Artists (Actor/Actress/Director/Singer/Dancer ......etc) filed under EB1 and easily getting GC from Nepal. I really wonder about extra-ordinary category.

Hey, I just saw this thread looking for NIW related stuff on Sajha. I am going through the process and I am trying to get independent recommendations. I wanted to ask you for your help/feedback for getting those. I have contacted a lot of people, but all independent recommendation providers have denied or not responded to my requests. How did you go about getting your independent recommendations?

That's a common problem. Not sure that it will worj but please try: Some professor you met in a conference, may be just in the banquet Friends of your professor or that of a committee member Professor of your friend or friends of postdoc in your lab Random professors who came from foreign country like us I hope that helps a little. I know how frustrating it is.
