Diorceguy you seem to carried away emotionally and I dont have any problem with that. Yes Nepal is poor, underdeveloped, uneducated and perhaps failed state. But does that make us a small country? Just because we dont have highway, proper sanitation and good governance we are small nation? We can be politically, economically and globally poor but all I mean to say is we are not a SMALL country. I heard people saying 'I am from Nepal and its a small country in South Asia'. What's the real meaning of small? Size? Population?

>> Population is one of the key factors to measure how big is country. Not having enough population/work force is one of the biggest problems advances countries from Northern Europe to Australia to Canada are facing today. Somehow I agree that educated people dont give birth to many children.

The only thing I might not agree in the facts you have presented is the size of the US army. Yes, active army size is just over 500k, but then you have Navy, Marine, Air force, Coast Guards and finally reserves. But the point you're making is absolutely valid. I always saw Nepal as a small country, primarily because of it's location (between two giants), but this gave a new persepective.

oh yeah thats how you wana play Gundruke, may be we should compare our lives with druggists, homeless bums and criminals, and say we better than everybody else rather than comparing our lives with people like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Stephen Hawking. From tomorrow start comparing your freaking average 5-6 ft height with Asians rather than comparing with Europeans and Americans and brag we ain't that short, start comparing our face with Africans rather than Europeans and Americans and brag we ain't that ugly, but in reality we are short and ugly.
