Police have arrested the mastermind behind couple of robberies in capital city.
A team of Metropolitan Police Crime Investigation Division arrested Bijaya Gupta, 37 from Baniyatar Kathmandu with a map-plan to execute robbery at Annapurna Carpet Factory in Khaibatol on Thursday.
Gupta, the main convict in the July 18 attempted robbery at a Gangobu-based jewelry shop is a permanent resident of Samastigunj of Bihar, Indian and was found to have possessed a Nepali citizenship from Sunsari district, according to the police.
The police also seized two pistols and eight rounds of bullet from him. Gupta, leader of eight-member gang was found to have planned high profile rubbery, according to the police
