Other Info regarding
the town, city, living area, etc.
Arlington is a fine city located in between two large cities: Dallas and Fort Worth. It is about 20-30 minutes drive from Irving where most Nepalese in North TX reside. However, there is a large Nepalese population in Arlington as well as all the parts of the DFW metroplex. Living expense and food is cheaper here than in many other cities/states. Job wise, it is not very hard to find jobs, both for guys and girls. Guys mostly work in convenient stores and girls at the malls.
There is no public transportation available in Arlington but cought share rides as there are many Nepalese residing in the area and could afford to buy cars because they are very much affordable here than in many other cities/states.
Overall, it is a nice city to live in or one could live in Irving and just drive to Arlington to attend UTA like many Nepalese students do. For more info. regarding the UTA Nepalese students/activities please visit the www.uta.edu site and search for Nepalese Student Association under student clubs.
