I read this somewhere and I am posting this Drama here.

Place: Two Americans at New York, USA.

Currency conversion rate: Re.1= US $ 95.

Alex: Hi John, you didn’t come yesterday to the office?

John: Yeah, I was in Nepalese embassy for visa process.

Alex: Oh really, what happened? I heard that nowadays it has become very strict to get visa for Nepal.

John: Yeah, but I managed to get it.

Alex: How long it took to get?

John: Oh! It was nasty man, long queue. Bill Gates was standing in front of me and they played with him like anything. That’s why I got delayed. I went there at 2 am and returned by 3 pm.

Alex: Really, in Nepal, it’s a matter of an hour to get visa for USA.

John: Yeah, but that is because who in Nepal will be interested in coming to USA man. Their economy has been booming.

Alex: So, when are you leaving?

John: Anytime, after receiving my tickets from the client in Nepal and you know I will get a chance to fly by NAC(Nepal Airlines Corporation),a leading airlines corporation of the world, a dream come true.

Alex: How long are you going to stay in Nepal?

John: What do you mean by how long? I will be settled in Nepal, my company has promised me that they will process for my hariyo kagaj.

Alex: Really, you are lucky man. It is very difficult to get a hariyo kagaj in Nepal.

John: Yeah, that’s why, I am planning to marry a Nepali girl there.

Alex: But you can find lots of US girls in Katmandu, Pokhara and Narayangarh.

John: But I prefer Nepali girls because they are beautiful and cultured.

Alex: Where did you get the offer, Narayangarh?

John: Yeah, salary is good there. But the cost of living is quite high. It is Rs 1000 for a single room accommodation. You know, Katmandu, Narayangarh, and pokhara are the top three most expensive cities in the world, as published by The Kathmandu Post.

Alex: I see, that’s too much for US people there. Re1=US $ 95. Oh god! What about in Biratnagar?

John: No idea, but it is less than what we have in Narayagarh. It is the world headquarters of software. In Biratnagar, almost every people have their own robot for help.

Alex: You can get a BMW car for  just Rs 7500. But my dream is to purchase HULAS SHERPA which costs Rs 20000 and has a sexy design. You know, recently, our president received HULAS SHERPA as a gift from president of Nepal.

Alex: By the way, who is your client?

John: Sahile and Kahile associates, a pure Nepali company, specializing in embedded software.

Alex: Oh, really, lucky to work in a pure Nepali company. They are really intelligent and unlike American body shoppers who have opened their fly-by-nights outfits in Nepal. Nepalese companies are very strict on their profession, they have two days holiday in a week and if you get delayed for even a single minute, you will be punished. I guess that’s why Nepal has reached this position.

John: Yeah man, you are right. I hope our American also follow their footsteps.

Alex: How are you going to cope with their language?

John: Why not? From my school days I have been learning Neplai as my first language here at New York. And I have scored a very good in TONIL test. (Test of Nepali as International language), and they are very impressed by my score.

Alex: So you are going to have fun there.

John: Yeah, I will be traveling in the world’s fastest train, world’s largest theme park, and of course famous Kollywood, where you can see actors like Rajesh Hamal, Nikhil Upreti, Rekha thapa and all. Do you remember, a kollywood movie ‘’mero desh Nepal’’ won all the Oscars for this year. Dragon house is also near to kollywood, which is one of the largest fun park in the world, every year more than 10 million people come just to visit Dragon house. And I will be visiting  NeSAA( Nepali Space and Aeronautics Administration), agency of the Nepalese government responsible for developing space exploration and research initiatives, as well as coordinating various communications-related projects. NeSAA also administers the space shuttle program and a variety of other endeavors, which include improving the performance of airplanes and rockets (aeronautics), conducting scientific experiments in space. Recently NeSAA launched nepali yan choutho to the Mars. It has already stabilized a space café on moon. Our own Bill Gates has also reserved a ticket for this café and he will be the first american to be on space cafe. And i will also visit the second biggest hydropower in the world,'Kaligandaki and Andhikhola Jalbidhyut Aayojana'  which is on Syangja district.

Alex: You know, the PM of Nepal is scheduled to visit US next year; he may then issue a number of visas.

John: That’s true. Last month, Krishna Khetan visited white house and donated Rs 40000 for infrastructure development at silicon valley and has promised more if we follow the model of high-tech city of Narayangarh. Bill gates also got a chance of meeting him.Very lucky person.

Alex: Krishna Khetan is a hard worker man. Every minute he is getting Rs 1000. It seems if you keep all his money converted as Rs 100 notes you can reach Pluto. He is in the first position since a decade as the richest person of the world.

Alex: John, I am palnning to do my master’s degree in Nepal, and do you have any idea about this?

John: You know education of Nepal is  best in world. Almost all Nepalese universities are recognized all over the world. Tribhuwan University, Pokhara University, Kathmandu University are the top three universities of the world. Ok, Alex, wish u all the best and I wish you will get admission on one of the Nepalese university soon and we will meet there.  By the way, what do you want to study ?

Alex: I have done my bachelor’s degree in microbiology so I want to do my master on the same subject.

John: Oh, great. Microbiology is hot subject in the world. And Nepal has got very good scope. Nepal is spending more than billions every year on microbiological research. It has established microbiology lab recently on ‘everest base camp’ to study the extreme environment microbes. 25%  economy of the country is by the sale of microbiological useful products, like vitamins, hormones, enzymes and yarchagumaba (Cordyceps sinensis) . Ok Alex, you have bright future ahead. Once again all the best. Microbiology is rocking the world. It is better that if you score high  in TONIL test, you can get chance to be enrolled in Central Department of Microbiology,Tribhuwan University(CDM,TU). For microbiology Tribhuwan University is the best institution around the globe, where you can find famous scientists there as teaching faculties.CDM,TU is doing a research on HIV-AIDS since a decade and trying to find out anti-HIV vaccine. It is investing billions for this research.A team of microbiologists of CDM,TU is claiming that they have discovered a anti-HIV vaccine. As this university is government ruled university, you don’t need to pay tuition fees and you have free hostel service with lodging, no fooding. Alex it’s already 3:00 pm lets go to my home and watch world cup cricket final. You are supporting for which country, Alex?

Alex: Of course Nepal. It has very balanced team with good bowling and batting and their fielding is superb. But I don’t mean to say that Australia isn’t a good team. They have best bowlers in the world. Its cricket anything can happen. But Nepal is playing on home ground with home audiences; it can take full advantage of it. And what about you, John?

John: you know I am supporting  Australia since I knew what cricket is.

Alex: Ok good luck, John. Have a nice stay in Nepal and I wish you all the best.

John: Same to you Alex. And don’t go to the consulate in a Daura Suruwal because they will think you are too nepalised and may doubt you will never come back and hence your visa may get rejected. But don’t forget to say ‘namaste, halkhabar ke chha’ to the visa officer at window 5. It seems he likes that and will not give you a visa if you don’t greet him that way.
