Current zonal-based federalism will be more practicable: NWPP leader
Nepal
Workers' and Peasants Party (NWPP) leader Sunil Prajapati has said that
the existing 14 zones can be turned into provinces. Read more .. Now that we have a new President, a new Vice President, and a new Prime
Minister, the focus will soon shift to the issue of what the model of
Federalism will be based upon. Though I do not agree with Mr. Prajapati on the form of government in Nepal to be as that in N Korea or China, he articulates pretty well how zonal-based federalism will help Nepal maintain harmony and solidarity among people of different caste and creed. Some other leaders have stressed the need to federalize the nation based on ethnicity. But I think it is a perfect recipe for creating animosity between the ethnic majority and ethnic minority people in any local area which will finally lead to chaos and disintegration of the nation.
What's your take on this topic?

Federalism in Nepal, must be Geographical development based. Therefore all district and zone can be developed equally or will get a chance for economy self-support.
Look at kathmandu, all Rich crooks and national criminals and corruptors live with lavish life.
Look at Rolpa, Rukum, Dolpa... People even eat nothing for several days. They do not have anything.. No foods & supply, no electricity, no roads, no medicare health post, no post offices, no drinking waters, no schools, no markets for farmers. Nothing.
