when operose times strifle me and bother.

You were the witness when I acquired the first step
and went unfirm, woozily across the floor.
You crusaded and cheered: propped and guided,
until my steps finally maneuvered me out the door.

I miss all those things you have to offer now

You always buoyed me up at those time of blues

You are the softest, sweetest, most endearing of all,
and you know more of heaven than even angels can recall.
Your love is like rippling, gratifying buds in spring;

A flash of your smile can brighten my any moment;
you are the sunshine which lightens my every day.
