Generally, when people look at a couple they expect the man to be taller than the woman. So the taller a man, is the more women he can date and still be taller than her. However, I don't see why some women wish to be taller. If a woman is tall then there is a smaller number of men that she could date that are taller then her. However, if she is short then all types of men could date her and still be taller than her. She could date tall men, average sized men, or short men. Since a man is traditionally supposed to be taller than the woman he dates, a short woman will have as many options as a tall man. However, I do understand that just like a man could be too tall, a woman could be too short. If a woman is too short she will have trouble reaching things, or finding clothes that fit and when people are less than 4'10" inches, many times their body is not quite proportional.

shakira is 4'11.5". in special-made heels she is 5'5", without heels five foot. i met her backstage at one of her concerts in miami, where she lives. she was the same height of my mother, who is 4'11.5." but let me tell you, she is GORGEOUS in person and so sweet!
