Oh Cleo, come on, don't be so hard on yourself. You said something nice and the least I can do is say thank you :) So muchos gracias! But "intellectually stimulating"? Now way!! Ha ha ha ... I wish but I think I have quite the opposite affect on people. LOL!

You too remind me of some people I know but on Sajha virtuality and anonymity can sometimes create illusory effects, no? :)

But keep rocking!

Good ol Mr Bean! :-)

One funny git he is...

Afternoon, Capt - The Intellectually Stimulating - Haddock!
Cheers for the clips - made my day! :-) Busy beavering away at the weekend routines with a heavy head from last night - I must have had a few sips at G&Ts and Merlot too many! Then there was champaigne too. I could actually do a tad well with more of the Bean humour today - the placebo effects may yet heal the sore tauko :-) See, no longer a self-proclaimed teetota! :-) :-)

Oh, btw had a piece of HADDOCK to accompany the turkey for X-mas lunch yesterday! Blistering barnacles!

Have a good one...
Carpe diem

""People say am always after Smarties...""

Cleopatra,
so you've got the hots for 'Smarties' with loads of brain cells eh? Only? How about for those not so 'smarties' with a tad bit of IQ but with a massive penchant for having a bash at everything adventurous - good at his show of hair-raising derring-do! Hunks, ahem, who can speak, read & write a wee bit of words, mostly woffles, but... but.. can run a marathon within hours; can carry you up your stairs without taking a breath; can do 100 push-ups with a 80kilo rucksack carrying on his back. Yours truly's credentials might fit in just as well! :-)

That's a good name btw you have got there - Cleopatra. One of my best loved female fictional characters! Good on you, ol' Bard! :-)

Merry Christmas - have a good one.

Capt
I have got to shoot off.. have a nice weekend.

See you whenever!

" ... can run a marathon within hours; can carry you up your stairs without taking a breath; can do 100 push-ups with a 80kilo rucksack carrying on his back. Yours truly's credentials might fit in just as well!"

Sandhurst - Ha ha, couldn't resist a bit of bragging there, huh, brother? :) Looking at him shamelessly blowing his own trumpet. Show-off! LOL!

What about those of us who can barely do 30 push-ups with the entire atmosphere on our backs - are we all supposed to feel less manly now? :D ha ha ha

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

G&T, Merlot and Champage - "macho man" likes drinks on the sweeter side, huh? :P :D Kidding! I like all three too - the first was my drink of choice for a long time.

Hope you have a great week ahead.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some more Mr Bean this Sunday morning.

Capt,
""Sandhurst - Ha ha, couldn't resist a bit of bragging there, huh, brother? :) Looking at him shamelessly blowing his own trumpet. Show-off! LOL!""

Lol-ing.... :-) The ol' trumpeter this end has run out of his tunes ke!... :-) Might as well switch to other baajaas - clarinet, aboe or horn maybe! :-) Or even saxophone, so good ol' Bill can come and teach me a few notes including:

"Hands, touchin' hands
Reachin' out
Touchin' me ...
Sweet MONICA..
Good time never seemed so good""

Being a little cheeky there, aren't I? :-) But hey, nothing's wrong with having a little bit of humour or even 'humor' in there!

********
""What about those of us who can barely do 30 push-ups with the entire atmosphere on our backs - are we all supposed to feel less manly now? :D ha ha ha""

Huh?? Not even 30 push-ups? You've let me down - big time, Capt! :-)
"Royt, I ain't gunna bord de sheep capt'ned by yoo den, Kyaapt'n, Sur! :-) Sorrie.. :-):-):-) :-)

(A full-scale mutiny beckons, Capt! So you'd better get your acts together; go and do some phys, and stop sitting on your bum watching X Factor all day long, even during weekends!) :-)

******************
"macho man" likes drinks on the sweeter side, huh?""
Now, come on - do be a little sensitive to my bichaaraa liver, will you? :-) Going by the increased volume of intake on the Merlot front, I genuinely fear, the liver won't survive another contact! :-) You won't need barrels of Grouse or Scotch.. I can assure you! Merlot or Chavlis are just as lethal! :-) Or so I am given to believing!

So, both you and I would be a lot better off sticking to the three for now - the holy trinity! :-)
So, shall we?
Merlot for me please - big one, thank you! Cheers!
:-)
***************
Hey, this silly talk aside, thanks for the clip - hilarious. I have seen it once before already.

Another gruelling week beckons before we break for Christmas/the New Year! And the dreary drippy English mausam is hardly any consolation. I hope, yours is a pleasant and fruitful one.
All the best.

Carpe diem.

Sandurst L-

ROFL-ing over and over! :))

You crack me up totally man! I considered myself pretty fit till I read your post. Dude, I actually haven't done push-ups in a while now - maybe I'll try tomorrow morning and see how I fare ...ha ha ha I guess I had other forms of excercise to keep me in what I thought was 'shape' - that is until now. You're making us all feel unfit now. I need to dig up those gymn coupons now that came in the mail :)

Oh, and btw, talking about Padma Laxmi, it wasn't Rusdie's biceps that she got attracted to, was it? ha ha ha

Just a thought ;)
