I had heard that a new bill was passed for F1 visa according to which a student can come 4 months before the I-20 report date. I am wondering if it is true or not. Anybody clarifying it shall be highly appreciated.

even if that bill was passed, what would be the significance of it? i guess it works out for student who want to come here and make some money before they go to school...
besides, schools dont' sent their I-20's till april, may (am i correct?), and then you have to apply for visas and stuff, so it is not like all studetns will be able to come before four months. but just by reading the description, i don't think its true. i mean, how would the US government benefit from international students coming four months earlier, other than illegal works and such? and there is already so much on senate's plate with illegal works.........

me not doing soooo bad, but i am slacking offff with my research work. i think i am turning into the biggest procrastinator on earth....have done squat work for my profesor hoina, but me going to city again today. hahahha. too much descrption, but had to get it off somehow so that i feel less guilty later. but one good thing, i wake up at 9 everyday.:) and do my work in my ownnn slowwwwww pace and tehn eat lunch and take naps and then wake up from naps and then eat dinner and then go the beach and then come back and watch tv and sleep. hehhehehe. so summer is not that bad actually.
