In yet another interesting development, there has been a telephone conversation between Koirala and Prachanda to end the row related to the closure of some industries in the southern Nepal. Nepalnews quoted the state run Radio Nepal as saying that the two leaders talked on creating a favourable environment condusive for business operation in Bara and Parsa districts among other issues. for more visit: http://dreamnepal.wordpress.com

n a sharp tone, Prachanda has blasted the present government and SPA alliance for trying to sideline the maoists despite the success achieved recently which can be credited to the decade long movement of maoists. He accused the government of moving in a snail pace and trying to downplay the role and size of maoists in the country.

GIRIJA IS A EUNUCH KO SARDAR. HE LIKES TO HAVE IS ANUS FU_KED BY DIFFERENT PEOPLE ESP. INDIANS AND MAOISTS. FOR THAT HE CAN DO ANYTHING ON EARTH. Bastard bajey has no respect for Hindu religion too. He doesn't need to get the mandate of the people to do anything. He is gasping in the sun finally and thinks he is the supreme commander now. If this is his way he may one day be killed by the Nepali anger.

Amrit, I am not a religious fanatic and I therefore would prefer secular Nepal. This paves a way for mutual respect and minorities also get the feeling that Nepal belongs to them as much as it belongs to hindus.

Bibas, You may be an atheist, but to do anything one has to take the consensus of the people. One cannot change the spirit of the nation just because one is a dead parliamentarian ie it is the right of the people not only to know what is happening but also to have a say. We already had religious tolerance and the constitution does treat all religions equally so what was the need to do that? If the whole purpose of Girija being there is to please the Maoists, why do we want a leader like that?

Amrit, Agreed, there has to be a consensus to do anything. However, whats wrong in declaring Nepal a secular state? We have the temples as they are, the respect is there as it was there ages ago. The only thing it did was to boost the confidence of the minorities. Now they can also feel that Nepal belongs to them as well. Till this period, minorities always felt as if they were left out. Now everyone has the open platform to perform. So, lets accept this, follow what we want, and let others follow what they want. Democracy is when no values are imposed on people...that means imposing hinduism as the national religion is wrong by the very meaning of democracy.

Bibas , Was any religion imposed on anyone when Nepal was a Hindu country? So why does this issue appear now? There was rampant conversion to Christianity. My own maid says she was taken to become a Christian by a group of people but she refused for some of her own reasons. They have been active converting people even in villages. There was noone stopping them. In Lumbini which is the birth place of Buddha - there is a mosque and a church just 2 min away. Noone stopped them from building them though a mosque uses mike and the noise goes far and wide. So what is the need? Why on earth can we not be a Hindu country?

The same question to you: Why should we be a hindu country? Does it matter? Lets not have anything. We can practice and preach what we want...lets leave at that...you do what you want, i will do what I want...how about that?

Amrit you are not alone... It is sad Nepalese just don't care, they do not stand for anything. There are many things to be depressed about Nepal, in fact I'm these days. 1. Its not a matter of whether Nepal is called Hindu state or not. It was a matter of proud for me when "NEPAL WAS THE ONLY HINDU STATE IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE" I could say that proudly too all the foreigner, but not any more. 2. Nepal used to be the PEACE LAND, that doesnt exist anymore. Thanks to Maoist 3. We were taught while in Nepal, birth place of Lord Buddha, nobody in western world believes that, they think its INDIA, all books, media says it India. 4. Nepalese Army used to be the bravest, not anymore, they couldn't even catch these coward Prachanda & Babu Ram for years, atleast, we wouldnt have to see these days if they had catch and kill 'em years ago. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This I believe: 5. King intention was to take care of Maoist, terrorism, and bring back peace, but they are punishing him for what he tried to achieve. The way I look at is, its mere a revenge. He's been treated almost like Saddam, but I cant speak for others. For me, he's always gonna be Nepal's King, and I salute for what he try to achieve. 6. Nepal was HINDU state, and will always be a Hindu state regardless of millions of $ poured in by western missionary to convert all to Christian & an attempt to turn all uneducated, poor Nepalese to carry gun n kill each other and be a faithless zoombies by Maoists. It would be interesting to see Prachanda n other criminal Maoists coming into power and ruling Nepal at the price of million peoples tears, and bloodbath. Peace! List goes on... -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

KTMEYE, King never cared for the people. Just look at the budget he allocated for himself when royal family number has gone down sharply. He is one of those power-hungry beast. Its good SPA made him feel ashamed. Now king has to be treated just like all other nepali citizen. He has to apply to the District Administration office for his citizenship.
