In The Indian News
Amid much relief, Minister for External Affairs Natwar Singh and his deputy E Ahamad announced here that the hostages had been released without the Indian government having to compromise on any matter of principle.

If the Indians were released without any compromise by the Indian govt... then why couldn't Nepalis be released.. WHY THE HELL WERE THEY KILLED??

The nepalese werent released because:

1) Nepal lacks people who can talk in international level
2) There were least efforts made to release the Nepalese captives besides blah blahing on TV
3) Our leaders have failed us time and time again...this being one more time
4) We have never dealt with a hostage situation first hand (besides the RNAC take over by taliban; in which india sent negotiators) we never prepare ourselves for anything and always hope some foreign aid will do it for us.

and that is why our brothers were killed.

I agree with everything that mucho_fiesta has said. It seems that Nepalese lives, or the lives of any people from third-world nations, are more expendable than others. The militants murdered Nepalis based upon the pretense that Nepal was helping the American and Jewish causes. Well, I wonder what India has been doing all along? Have they or have they not been at war with Pakistan, an Islamic nation, for more than half a century? Have they or have they not been killing Kashmiris (innocent Muslims) for as long as anyone can remember? Have they or have they not, time and time again, backed the US "war on terrorism?" The militants may have realized that killing the Indians would have produced mass riots and viceral hatred against the vast Indian Muslim communities.

I agree that the government is at fault.
Then why aren't the general public in Nepal saying or protesting anything against the government or so called political leaders.....

They are just destroying businesses, harming innocent Nepalese Muslims, and affecting the economy of the country. Our people will suffer from this...

There hasn't been much discussion on this issue in International Media either. Becuase many things is happening --such as in Russia, Israle, and ofcourse Republican Convention...

-----People in Nepal are so confused they do not know what they want. They will take anything that will serve their needs. (personal needs) People who want a good change are either quiet have a good job or just cant do anything. Political leaders have all the gundas in their pockets....they are the ones who make change..

They are just destroying businesses, harming innocent Nepalese Muslims, and affecting the economy of the country. Our people will suffer from this...

------Do you really think our losers..ooh I meant leaders are not aware of that. They are but yet again they find a way use the rage of nepalese towards their advantage (to topple people they want)

There hasn't been much discussion on this issue in International Media either. Becuase many things is happening --such as in Russia, Israle, and ofcourse Republican Convention...

------There will never be if you cant bring enough spot light to it. Since our brothers have been massacared they should along with Nepalese Gurkhas (UK) or US troops should hunt for the killers or bring the bodies home no body gives a @#$&. BBC did not even cover it in their news last night We have a histroy of forgetting/forgiving too fast and we never learn....
