While flying Gulf Air to Nepal, during the overnight layover at Bahrain where you have to leave the airport and stay in the hotel, do they require us to check-out and check-in the luggage even if it is ticketed all the way to KTM? Any information will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

@sgy: LoL, that's one of the stupid questions i heard here in sajha. Answer me this question.
Did you have to check in/out your luggage when you came to US from Nepal?
If answer is definitely "NO" then you don't have to worry about your luggage until KTM.
Peace

It is not required to check in/out your checked luggage when you ve a stop-over. I also did same thing got out of airport and stayed at a hotel and came back next day. However, I am not sure if it is something based on Country / City issue.

@sgy once your luggage is checked-in till your final destination, you dont have to worry about it. Everything will be taken care by respective bodies/authorities. Please check the airlines/travel agents to double confirm it. Be safe than sorry. @ Sirus_Me ur reply was stupid

Perrybhadra and no_more_crush,
Thank you so much for your advice.
moonshadow,
From what I hear from my travel agent, there should not be any transit visa issue as long as you have continuing flight ticket as we do.
To the other responder,
I have nothing to say to you. Your ill mannered posting itself says it all.
